User

A user of the Bittensor network is often not required to know that the data being created or service being utilised is powered by the Bittensor network. They simply interact with an application that has been built by a developer.

As in most customer-facing applications, the user has no idea of the infrastructure or tech-stack on which their software is built, only of its value to them as a user.

Applications and user tools can be free, or users may have to pay the developer a fee to use their service. This fee could be paid in any currency, it is not dependent on or require the tao token of any other token unless by specific design of the developer..
